The 1953 Queen, Jane Ferrando Mills & her husband, David Mills with their son in the background. I would like to thank Mr. & Mrs. Mills for coming to the Ashtabula Bicentennial Celebration. They were truly one of the highlights of the celebration. They drove all the way from near Chicago so Jane could crown the new 2003 Queen, Stephanie Morris. Remember Stephanie, it will be your turn in 2053!

Father's Day

Father's Day Contest winners: Stephanie Stranman, grade 5, & Taylor Fetters, grade 3, both of Ashtabula with Dorrene Tuner, Contest coordinator. Stephanie & Taylor each received Ashtabula Historical Bicentennial Programs and Ashtabula Bicentennial T-shirts. They each received dinners for their fathers and themselves courtesy of  Casa Capelli Restaurant in Downtown Ashtabula worth $30 each.

There was a tough decision by the Judges to pick the winners as there were  many great entries.
